February was the month I came out swinging from the gate, but slowly began to peter out as the month continued. All of this was mostly me reevaluating my novel and figuring out what was working and what wasn’t. If you hadn’t read from an earlier blog post, I made the decision to scrap my 200+ page draft and start over with a fresh new idea. That took a lot of internal debating, but I felt it was necessary.
On to the blog. Happier Times is getting bigger and I’m excited where I go next in the future. There was a point in time where I honestly thought to myself that I ran out of things to talk about haha. Obviously, that wasn’t true, I just had a lot on my mind and needed a small break from blogging. Plus, I caught a cold for a few days so there’s that.
I believe I want to do more posts similar to the my How Animal Crossing Help Me Through A Rough Patch in Life instead of my impression posts I have done in the past. Writing up my impressions is great, don’t get me wrong, but I feel I can dive further and converse on how certain media has affected me.
As Luck Would Have It continues to grow and expand its world. I’ve been keeping notes on where I would like to take the story next something I haven’t been doing until recently. My end goal is to one day turn this into a picture book similar to what Neil Gaiman does. It’s not set in stone yet, but it is something I want.
As always, thank you for reading and following my posts. I hope to see you all in March.
